Brian Hume

Brian Hume has been a staff member at Hebron Baptist Church for 18 years, and currently serves as the director of communications. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master of arts in religious education (MARE), (concentration in communication arts). Brian has been married for 35 years to Fonda, and they have three adult children and one granddaughter. He’s a “geek” that loves Jesus and the local church. Brian also loves listening to podcasts on technology, finances and leadership.

Church Management Systems
What is it? Do I need one? How do I make the right choice with so many options? We will outline a basic strategy to answer these questions and more, to determine if a church management system is right for you and your church.

Cloud-Based Tools in Ministry
We all face the overwhelming “to-do” list in ministry. I personally need about 25 hours in a day. Together, we will take a look at Evernote, a cloud based tool that anyone can use to be more productive and manage those never ending projects. Whether it is sermon prep, bible study, curriculum development, or keeping your pastor on task, we will discuss turning that “to-do” list into a “done” list. Other tools will also be discussed as time permits.
