Bill Wilks

Bill Wilks is the lead pastor of NorthPark Church in Trussville, Alabama, where he has served for over 18 years. In addition, he frequently serves as an adjunct professor at the Birmingham extension for the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bill is the author and lead trainer for D-Life: Disciple-Making. Anytime. Anywhere. He and his wife, Rondie, are passionate about disciple-making and equipping others for a lifestyle of disciple-making. Together, they have trained thousands of believers across the globe for a lifestyle of disciple-making using the D-Life process. Through D-Life, God has given Bill a vision of a better reality for today’s church. Modeled after the example of Jesus Christ, D-Life is a simple, biblical, and multi-generational process for equipping all believers for a lifestyle of disciple-making. The ultimate vision of D-Life is to see a global, grassroots, disciple-making movement. It’s a vision that will take us back to a carpenter from Nazareth and twelve ordinary Joes, who started a movement that could not be stopped. Dr. Wilks believes it is time to reignite this movement! It’s time to return to living the D-Life. For more on D-Life, please visit www.livethedlife.com.

Leading Transition from a Discipleship Program to a Disciple-Making Culture
For Jesus, disciple-making was not a program; it was a lifestyle. It was a reproducible process that transformed 12 “ordinary Joes” into world-changing disciple-makers. Jesus started a disciple-making movement that could not be stopped. In this session, we will discuss how to rekindle this movement in our churches, and how to transition from a discipleship program to a disciple-making culture.

Leading Your Church as a Disciple-Making Pastor
Are you a disciple-making pastor? Is your church intentionally making and multiplying disciple-makers? It should be obvious that great preaching alone does not produce lifestyle disciple-makers. In this session, we will discuss how to be a great preacher, and how to lead your church as an intentional disciple-making pastor.
