Bill Emeott serves as lead kids ministry specialist for LifeWay Kids. He is a graduate of Mercer University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bill has served as a kid’s minister and considers himself a professional Sunday School teacher. He currently teaches a 2nd Grade Bible study and preschool choir at his home church in Nashville.
4 Disciplines of a Disciple-Building Kids Ministry
Kids ministry should be more than creative and intriguing programs. In this breakout, participants will explore four spiritual practices that encourage habits, which help to produce mature followers of Jesus Christ. These disciplines should be the anchor of every program and can serve as the foundation for a disciple-building kids ministry.

Using Technology to Teach Kids
There are six basic teaching methods: art, music, drama, research, games, and creative writing. All Bible-teaching activities can be placed in one of these general categories. In this breakout, participants will discover and experience ways to enhance basic teaching methods with technology, to create even more exciting Bible study experiences for kids.

Preteens: from Influenced to Influencers
Preteens are influenced and shaped by today’s culture. In this session, participants will consider cultural influencers and ways to encourage preteens to be Acts 1:8 culture shapers, as they transition to student ministry.
